The mandate of the Standing Committee on Catholicity is to advise the Board of Trustees on matters relating to the Catholic nature of our system and its staff.  The committee will examine all aspect of the issues referred to them by the Board from a Catholic perspective and give advice to the Board to help them make decisions on matters affecting the Catholic nature of its operation.

 

The committee is comprised of two trustees, the Director of Education, the board chaplain, and representatives from teachers, parents, faculty of education, and deanery.

 

 

The purpose of the committee is to develop and annual cyclical review of Board policies, to report to the Board on an annual basis on the schedule of review and the results of the review and/or develop policies and/or by-laws and to advise the board on recommendations for policy development.

 

The committee is comprised of three trustees, the Director of Education and a senior administrator.
