A Message from the Director of Education
Welcome to the website of the London District Catholic School Board.
It is my pleasure to invite you to explore this site and find out who we are and how we pursue the mission of Catholic education. On these electronic pages, you will find news and information, celebrations of the many achievements of our students and staff, departments, directories, maps and much more. This is our window to the world and the first contact for many people.
Our Mission is "To serve the Catholic student in a community that nurtures a living faith and provides a quality Catholic education that enables the individual to become a contributing member of the Church and Society." This is at the forefront of everything we do. Our students are expected to meet the Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations and we know that our graduates will make the world a better place, transforming it into a just and caring society.
Our schools have strong links to parishes and assist parishes with sacramental preparation. It is this triumvirate of home, school and parish that provides the strong foundation for Catholic education. Parental participation in the education of students is highly desired and encouraged.
We will continue to place our strongest emphasis on what goes on in the classroom. Our aim has always been to ensure that every student succeeds to the best of his or her ability. We are dedicated to providing a safe environment, filled with caring and dedicated professionals.
