INSTRUCTIONAL SWIMMING PROGRAM
Skating Program

Beginning early January, the Department of Physical Education offers an instructional swimming program at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre, Carling Heights Community Centre, South London Aquatic Centre, Woodstock YM-YWCA and the St. Thomas Family YMCA.

Priority of this program is given to grade three classes and split classes thereof. Due to staff scheduling, the Aquatic Centres are only able to provide 3 instructors per session. This limits the program size to one class per thirty-minute session with an instructional ratio of 1 instructor per 10 students based on a class size of 30. If you have two classes of grade 3 who wish to participate, you may book 2 sessions back to back.

Information regarding the program is sent to schools early November.
