Praying for Peace

Students from St. Thomas Aquinas participated in the 8th annual Prayer Crawl yesterday, taking their message across the city of London.  This year's theme "Peace" took them to pray at 12 different locations around the city
Paper cranes, made during Catholic Education Week, are a symbol for peace. The cranes were handed out at the various locations and were left at the gravesites of our fallen soldiers.
This year's Prayer Crawl saw the group pray with and for the students and staff at Micah's Place, and with the staff of the Catholic Education Centre. Neither the rain nor chilling wind could dampen the spirits of those 'crawling'!

Below, students from Regina Mundi Catholic College brought their prayer crawl to the Catholic Education Centre this morning, before heading out to Marion Villa, St. Peter's Basilica and other destinations.

About five  hundred students from  our schools took part on Tuesday in the annual Rosary Rally at St. Peter's Cemetery in London to mark the birthday of Pope John Paul ll and to honour Mary, mother of God. (Above and below)
