The Stars Shine at St. Joseph's!

The weather definitely cooperated for the  10th annual St. Joseph's Invitational Track and Field Meet - and the smiles were as bright as the medals.   The event  is an amazing opportunity for students with disabilities from all the high schools in our system as well as some area public schools to show off their talents, meet new friends and overall have a great day of participation.

The athletes  took part in events such as the 100-metre dash, high jump, long jump, shot put, assisted wheelchair, and more.

Congratulations to Principal Peter Cassidy  and all of the  organizers who do such a wonderful job each year on this event.

On February 1 the new Keeping Our Kids Safe at School Act (Bill 157) came into force. This legislation supports the London District Catholic School Board's belief that all members of our school community - staff, students, parents, and community agencies - have a role to play in making our schools a safe place in which to learn.

Find out what's being done to keep our kids safe and what parents should know.  Click on the Bulletin Board on the LDCSB front page.
