Mediafest Highlights Students' Work

It was a wonderful demonstration of the amazing creative talents of our students. Mediafest 20008 was held at the Catholic Education Centre last night, a gala where the students' ideas and projects were on display.
MediaFest is a creative and spirited forum for students to use their talents in visual arts, media awareness and information technology with alternate ways to 'show what they know' in the context of Catholic education. Throughout the 2007-2008 school year, students were invited to prepare and produce interactive media, movies, animations, and digital artwork and to submit their work for consideration as entries for the MediaFest 2008 Showcase.

Categories included digital photography, websites, slideshows, music and school announcements, video production (documentaries, public service announcements and short films) and animation (computer animation, stop motion video and Claymation)

Mediafest highlighted their work and also the students who were honoured for submitting a prayer chosen to open the evening and two posters chosen to help attract entrants. (Right)
