About two thousand people including dozens of
LDCSB students and staff, climbed to the top of One London Place
yesterday in the annual United Way Stair Climb. Up and up they went,
25 floors in all, to raise money for the United Way campaign.
Organizers hope that when all the pledges are counted, the total
will reach $150,000. Above, students and staff from St. Paul made
short work of the steps. Below, the St. Anne (London) Student Parliament
Executive attacked the 25 floors along with their Principal and French
Teacher. Right, members of the Catholic Central student council
hardly broke a sweat.
Students also climbed steps at the Oxford County stair climb, which
was held at Southwold Area, and in St. Thomas at the Timken Centre.
