Is the foundation that supports the Strategic Priorities Strategies: Provide a distinctly Catholic education through the integration of Catholic beliefs and values in all learning experiences Continue the integration of the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations into the Ontario curriculum and acknowledge all students and graduates who demonstrate the expectations Encourage and empower all partners in education to recognise, celebrate and advocate for the distinctive nature of Catholic education Deliver Catholic education in partnership with the family, the parish and the community as a means of developing learners who can contribute positively to the Church and society Provide opportunities to learn about, grow in and live their faith in Jesus Christ.

Learning 
The London District Catholic School Board will ensure high levels of learning and success for every student within inclusive Catholic learning communities 
Strategies: • Promote the concept of school as inclusive Catholic learning communities under the leadership of the school principal • Create student-centered education communities that foster the development of the whole person • Maximize opportunities for student learning and success, using available resources • Promote the use of effective instructional and assessment strategies and programs that meet the needs of students through Catholic professional learning communities • Improve and support increased student use of information technology as a learning tool, using available resources • Use evidence-based decision-making to determine learning priorities, monitor and guide progress to sustain continuous improvement toward achieving identified targets at both the system and school level • Ensure that schools develop, implement and evaluate annual school improvement plans which address Catholic faith development and literacy and numeracy outcomes

Accountability 
The London District Catholic School Board will be responsible and accountable and protect and preserve all that has made Catholic education the precious gift it is
Strategies: • Recognise, value and develop the human resources necessary to sustain quality Catholic system programs and services • Practise sound financial management by providing the best possible accommodation and services for students and improving the educational environment within available funding • Develop long-term and preventative maintenance strategies to extend the life of Board buildings • Within existing resources, conduct research and evaluation studies toward determining the impact of system and school level initiatives • Use information technology effectively toward enhancing human resources management • Provide resources that identify and support potential leaders and serve current system staff in order to build capacity within the organization, enabling it to fulfill its mission and values.

Community
The London District Catholic School Board will foster cooperative community initiatives and partnerships that support, nurture and celebrate the unique gifts of all students

Strategies: • Enhance communication with and service to students, staff, parents volunteers, parishes and Catholic school councils • Improve system communication and information management throughout the District • Establish procedures and protocols that address the safety and dignity of all stakeholders • Facilitate accessibility for all community members through identification, removal and prevention of all barriers for persons with disabilities
