St. Anthony's Sports & Extracurricular Activities 2012-13
Jump Rope for Heart: St. Anthony's skipping team, led by Mme Brown put on a fantastic kick off assembly for Jump Rope for Heart! Well done to everyone who is practising their skills and becoming a part of skipping club and team this year. Thank you Mme Brown, Mme Bloor, Mme MacDonald, Mme Tiemessen and Mme Walker for your involvement! Thank you to all students and their families for raising funds and awareness about the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Chess Club: Congratulations to the St. Anthony's chess club led by M Gray! You all played very well in the tournament! Bravo!
Hockey: St. Anthony Girls' and Boys' hockey is in full swing. Great work and good luck! Thanks to M Gray and Mme Brown for coaching!
Gymnastics: Our gymnastics teams performed their routines at the Western Fair Agri-Plex on Friday, March 1st. Congratulations to all of our participants. Thanks to Mme Spieran, Bloor, Rodrigues, Tiemessen & others for their support & coaching.
Girls' and Boys' Basketball: St. Anthony girls' and boys' basketball teams are into their season. Good job angels! Thanks M Gray & Mme Bates & Mme Brown for coaching!
Volleyball: Congratulations to the Boys' and Girls' Volleyball teams for having great seasons! Thank you to M Gray, Mme Byers and Mme Walker for coaching the boys' team and thank you to Mme Sirie, Mme Saraiva and Mme Bobyk for coaching the girls' team!
Peter Pan Performance: Well done to all students involved in the St. Anthony performance of Peter Pan! Thank you to Mme Brown. Mme Byers, Mme Speiran and Mme Tiemessen for their hard work getting the students prepared for the show!
