(Read the rest of the Process page before proceeding to this one!) Back Take the Online Personality Tests One of the most interesting ways you can get to know yourself is to find out how your brain thinks. There are a number of famous, well established tests that even large companies use to hire executives! (Hint> These tests can be awfully taxing on the brain! Don't try to do all of them at one sitting. You'll get better results if you do them at different times or have a break in activities.) First: Download the score sheet to record your results. (It is also a checklist to help keep you organized!) ● Myers-Briggs ● True Colours ● Learning Style ● "Extra"
The most famous of the personality sorters is the Myers-Briggs test. By answering several questions about how you usually like to do things, you'll be identified as one of sixteen types of personalities. You may have to ask your teacher about some of the questions. If you're really stuck, you can leave a few of the questions unanswered. The test will still be reliable. Myers-Briggs identifies personality types with 4 letters, such as ENTP or ISFJ. Remember those letters! Most people's Myers-Briggs rarely change throughout their life. You can do a Internet search for your Myers-Briggs letter combination to get more information later on. The Paragon Learning Style Inventory (PLSI) is a 48 item self-administered survey that provides a very reliable indication of learning style and cognitive preference. It uses the four Jungian dimensions (i.e, introversion/ extroversion, intuition/sensation, thinking/feeling, and judging/perceiving) as does Myers-Briggs. What your personal Myers-Briggs score means (all 16 types)
A good one to do next is the True Colours test. Once you find out your results, you'll have fun guessing which of your classmates are green, orange, gold or blue! What do your True Colours mean? learningstyle-learningstyle-learningstyle-learningstyle-learningstyle-learningstyle-learningstyle-learningstyle-learningstyle-learningstyle-learningstyle-learningstyle-learningstyle-learningstyle-
