Students will consider each of 10 Conferences in 3 phases that are defined as Pre-NEXUS , NEXUS and Post- NEXUS.

Pre-NEXUS provides an introduction to the NEXUS process for the students. Each student will have a designated Conference. Paradigms of famous futurists will be shared through print materials or our Website. Each Conference will then consider current conditions and leave students with 3-4 open ended extending questions / directions to Research prior to attending NEXUS. Web based discussion areas will be available to post and explore their research and mindsets. We hope that these Discussion Areas will provide a vehicle to establish working relationships.

NEXUS is organized into 4 distinct sections.

1] The day will begin with our Guest Speaker Mr. Warren Evans who will extend the questions from Pre- NEXUS and provide a motivating basis for their efforts.

2] Students will then meet and greet in groups of 5 specific to their delimited Conference focus. Collectively, students begin to Design and Define the Canadian Experience in 2025 within their Conference.

3] The next step is to reconfigure students into groups of 10 so that all Conferences are represented within each group. The intent here is for students to consider the BIG PICTURE.

4] Students will then regroup with their original group of 5 to apply their insights from the BIG PICTURE. Finally students will outline their constructs through Web based templates. These templates will then be posted on our NEXUS Web site for each of the 10 Specific Conferences.

Post- NEXUS will have 2 modalities. Students either physically gather together in small regional based groups or gather in their local Secondary School and contact through the Internet. In either case, the jump-off point will be a Web-based video. The video will be a reflective analysis of NEXUS through the lens of a Canadian politician. The video will provoke further discussion/reflection both in person and via additional Web Postings.
