Holy Cross students travelled to St. Julien Park to participate in the annual Terry Fox run/walk.

After the Terry Fox run/walk students wrote chalk messages of hope and inspiration for all cancer victims.

Remembrance Day ceremony was prepared by Mrs. Condorato's grade 2/3 class.

Advent began with the school community gathering for the blessings of the Advent wreaths.

 

All the SK children enjoyed bringing their teddy bears to school.

Madame Speiran and the Gr. 8 class enjoyed Pulling Taffy. A nice treat during French class.

Taffy was cut and wrapped for other school community members to taste.

Students enjoyed browsing at the Book Fair and making purchases.


The annual Christmas dinner was a great success.

Santa Claus made a special surprise visit while the students and staff enjoyed a fabulous Christmas dinner.

 

Santa had a new helper when Holy Cross celebrated Elf Day.

 

Holy Cross is proud to be participating in the Knight's of Columbus Free Throw competition. The finalists are working hard to improve their personal best.

To prepare for Easter, the Grade 8 class presented the Stations of the Cross.

On Holy Thursday the school community gathered to witness the Stations of the Cross prepared by the Grade 8 class.

Mr. McNeil's class and Mr. Kelly's class enjoyed an outdoor adventure on Earth Day.

Earth Day was celebrated by both classes joining together to plant hundreds of seedlings.

Earth Day was also celebrated with special guests inviting Holy Cross to participate in a Pow Wow.

Wearing green the Holy Cross community gathered in a circle to become part of the traditional Pow Wow.

During Education Week an Outdoor Mass was held with St. Sebastian and St. Bernadette's school.

The outdoor Mass was celebrated with students from each school taking part.
