School BBQ - September 16, 2010
The weather just barely co-operated, but we still managed to enjoy the outdoors and each other's company at the School BBQ. There was lots of good food and a colourful array of watermelon to enjoy! Thanks to our parent volunteers for making this year's event another yummy success!

Tree Planting Ceremony - October 8, 2010
It was a beautiful sunny day at the new school site when Mrs. Hanna, the Student Council, and student representatives from each class were joined by Father Matthew Bedard and Father Frank Murphy, along with representatives from the London District Catholic School Board, the Catholic School Council, and parents to plant a tree at the site of the new school.

Hallowe'en Dance-A-Thon - October 29, 2010
Students at OLOL had a ghoulishly good time raising funds in support of the school and dancing to their favourite tunes at our first-ever Dance-A-Thon. This spooktacular event was enjoyed by all!

Recess Fun - November, 2010
Our Student Leaders are a great crew of Grade 8s who make recess more enjoyable for our younger students by organizing games, monitoring playgrounds and hallways, and providing assistance when needed. Here are some photos of our kids in action at recess time!

Remembrance Day - November 11, 2010
It was a beautiful day in November as our students donned their poppies and paid tribute to those who gave up their lives to preserve our rights and freedoms. Junior and Intermediate students travelled to the Cenotaph in Delaware to pay their respects, while our Primary students participated in a special presentation in the gymnasium.

Christmas Plays - December 16, 2010
Mrs. Kopichanski's Grade 6/7 class and Ms. O'Keefe's Grade 7 class showed their dramatic (and comedic) flair when they presented their Christmas plays to students and family members just before we broke for holidays. The plays had us thinking about the real meaning of Christmas, and gave us plenty of funny moments to enjoy as well. Bravo!

Christmas Luncheon - December 17, 2010
Once again, our annual Christmas Luncheon was filled with yuletide yummies and lots of good cheer! Big thanks to Jim Dean, Sandra Dobinson, Marcia White and all our amazing parent volunteers who cooked the food and served the tables. Thanks also to the many classes that performed on stage and kept us entertained throughout the meal. As always, the event was visited by Santa and topped off with another rousing singalong of The Twelve Days of Christmas!
