There are a number of important features to the Website that should be most useful to our students, their families and to visitors.

Students and their families can use the Website to keep current on school events and information. The Upcoming Events section on the Home Page will be updated weekly. A monthly list of events is posted on the Calendar link and Monthly Newsletters and bulletins can be viewed and printed from the Newsletters link.

As activities happen around the school, we’ll try to let you join in the “action” by posting photos in our Photo Gallery.

If you’re looking for information about our school, take a look at the School Profile link. At this link you’ll see our School Profile and Student Handbook. The School Profile has general information about our school, including staff information, class breakdowns, school history, programs and services, and EQAO data.

The Student Handbook contains specific information for students and parents about the day-to-day operation of the school. The school Homework Policy, Code of Behaviour and Safe Arrival Policy are key components of the Student Handbook. Every student purchases a Student Planner that contains the Student Handbook. Both student and parent(s) sign the Student Handbook. The Student Planner is our key tool for communication between the school and the home. Students, parents, and teachers use the Planner to record homework and important dates, to send notes between parents and teachers, and, to bring forms and money between school and home.

As the Website develops, teachers and support staff will be able to have personal WebPages with specific information for the students and parents with whom they work.

We hope you find the Website a useful source of information. It is certainly a great way to showcase the wonderful school community of St. Raphael’s.
