Course Registration |
The LDCSB now has a common electronic course calendar and on-line course registration process. The Course Planner module helps students plan courses that reflect their ability, interests, career aspirations, and graduation requirements. It brings together critical information including credit history, course descriptions, diploma tracking, pre-requisite requirements and suggested courses: This video will walk students and parents through Career Cruising Course Planner and course selection process Online Course Information VISIT OUR STA COURSE CALENDAR AT THE FOLLOWING LINK: https://www.careercruising.com/Individual/CP_CourseCalendar.aspx?SID=8448 Online Course Planning TO UTILIZE THIS FEATURE, CLICK ON THE FOLLOWING LINK TO ACCESS YOUR STUDENT INFORMATION (for current LDCSB students only) https://www.careercruising.com/home/CPLogin.aspx?SysG=71666bc8-44f1-45c8-b038-38d9883c2b03 IN ORDER TO ASSIST YOU WITH THIS NEW PROCESS, THE FOLLOWING LINK WILL BRING YOU TO THE INSTRUCTIONS PLAN DOCUMENT COURSE PLANNER/EDUCATION Graduation Requirements TO VIEW LDCSB GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS, CLICK ON THE FOLLOWING LINKS: CHARTING YOUR GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS * Course decisions should be based on ensuring that your son/daughter achieves success. Students and parents are encouraged to engage in conversation with teachers and Guidance counsellors to ensure a successful year. All students will have the opportunity to hear a presentation from a Guidance Counsellor during the month of January or early February. This presentation will focus on achievement of Graduation requirements, awareness of post secondary destinations and an overview of all available program opportunities both at STA and within the LDCSB. We encourage all students to take advantage of this opportunity and be ready to ask any questions they may have regarding the next school year. Individual appointments prior to course submission will probably not be possible. It is important that all students submit their course selections by the assigned date. Late submission could jeopardize student’s ability to get into desired courses.
