Families and Friends of St. Theresa Catholic School

St. Theresa Catholic School is a living example of our Catholic Faith and the Teachings of the Gospel.  As a Catholic School Community we are focused on service to others, nurturing compassion, respecting the dignity of each person, and creating a warm, welcoming, inclusive and Christ-centred school, while developing the whole child.

The staff of St. Theresa Catholic School embraces every student and values the contributions and gifts each child brings to our school community.  Our staff is committed to improving student learning and meeting the needs of all students. In meeting the diverse needs of all of our students  we recognize the importance of open and honest dialogue between the home and school and the value of parent involvement within our school.

As a Catholic Principal I feel very strongly about creating a safe, inviting, child-centred atmosphere for the children entrusted to our care, while also fostering clear, open lines of communication between parents and staff. In addition, it is my responsibility as Principal to work with the Parish to foster communion between the Church, the school and the home. This relationship is celebrated in many ways at St. Theresa including the celebration of the Eucharist and the Sacraments, the Parish team’s presence within our school and our service to local organizations and groups.
