Every year up to six Aboriginal students will receive this award for their creative writing talent. Creative pieces may include, but are not limited to short stories, poems, essays, plays, or songs and must be original work created by the student. For each category, there will be an 'up to 12 years of age' and '13 to 18 years of age' recipient. Each recipient will receive a certificate and a cash award of $2,500 You can submit nomination forms at any time. The deadline is May 31st of each year.
